What time should I arrive?

For patrons who have purchased the VIP Experience: Please plan to arrive at 5:30 p.m. for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, plus the opportunity for a pre-show chat with the star of the show, Ms. Karen E. Griffin. 

For General Admission & Balcony Seating: Please plan to arrive @ 6:15 p.m.

Late Seating Policy:

Because of the nature of the production, and in respect of Ms. Griffin, doors will close 15 minutes before the performance begins. Late arrivals will be accommodated at a different performance with their existing tickets.   

Do I need to print my ticket or show it on my phone?

You may print your email confirmation or show the confirmation on your phone.

Are tickets refundable or exchangeable?

Tickets are not refundable; however, they are exchangeable. In the event you cannot make the performance for which you purchased tickets, we will honor them at another performance should seating be available.

Venue Information

The historic Boone Theatre is located at 1701 E. 18th St., KCMO 64108, the corner of 18th & Highland.

Where should I park?

Street parking is available along The Paseo between 18th & 19th, and between 17th & 18th. These street spots are limited to 2-hour parking between 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on weekdays.

The Jazz District Parking Garage @ 18th & Lydia. Rates are: Daily - $5, Event Parking - $10.

Parking is also available at the Black Archives of Mid-America @ 1722 E. 17th Terr.

Due to the pedestrian mall project, there is no on-street parking on 18th Street, between The Paseo and Woodland Avenue.

For those who are using Rideshare service (Uber, Lyft), drop-off and pick-up is the corner of 18th & Woodland.

Where should I enter the building?

Entry is on the North side of the building. Look for signage and two double doors.

Is the venue accessible for patrons with disabilities?

At this time, the venue is accessible only on the first floor, as the elevator will not be operational until it has completed inspection; it is anticipated that the elevator will be in service during the week of June 14.

Are restrooms available and accessible?

Yes. Restrooms are available on the first floor of the venue.

What is the seating layout?

For this production, The Boone Theatre seats a total of 200 (160 floor; 40 balcony). 

Seating is “in the round” with VIPs allocated the front row. General admission seating is open and behind front row.

What is the runtime of the show?

The runtime of the show is one hour and 10 minutes.

Is there an Intermission?

Yes. To expedite service at Intermission, please complete the Drink Request Menu upon arrival, available at the bar.

Will food & beverage be available?

Yes. The Boone Theatre is cashless and will only accept Debit / Credit cards.

There is a full bar on-site with a variety of soft drinks, beer, seltzers, wine & mixed drinks. 

Concessions are also available for purchase. 

Outside food and beverages aren’t allowed.

Can I take photos or record the performance?

Please refrain from taking photos during the performance. 

Recording the show is strictly prohibited.

Are mobile phones allowed during the show?

Yes. Please silence your phone’s notifications.
